How the partnership works
You sell AI visibility to your client. We do the off-page part behind you, one client at a time. This is who does what, from the first email to the report.
- 1. You send one client domain. We run the citation test and email you what came back, competitors included. No charge, and your client is never contacted. If the answer engines name nobody in that category, there is nothing to take, and we say so.
- 2. You decide whether to sell it, and at what price. The $490 is what you pay us. What you charge your client is your decision, and not something we comment on.
- 3. We find the pages and write each email. You approve each page and its email, in one document, before anything goes out in your client's name.
- 4. We do the outreach, aiming for 3 published placements. The research, the writing, the follow-ups and the refusals land on us, not on your team.
- 5. At 30 days, you receive the report under your name. The same questions, measured again, with every placement that went live and its link. You send it to your client.
The firms that do this off-page work charge $2,000 to $4,125 a month. A Citation Sprint is $490 once. For the wider market, see what an AI visibility audit costs. Questions? Email us at support@crawlbit.app.
What a Citation Sprint is
A fixed-scope deliverable you can put in front of a client. $490 one time, partner rate. Backed by a 14-day money-back guarantee: if it is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of payment and you get the money back in full. The one limit is written down rather than discovered later, and it is the same one stated below: the re-test gives you a comparison, not a promised improvement.
- An audit of the client's site, every finding tied to the pages it is on.
- A live citation test on four answer engines, with the competitors named instead of them.
- The third-party pages that cite those competitors and not your client, listed one by one.
- Three off-page placements, pursued. Not a list of advice: we pitch the editors, follow up, and see each publication through for you.
- A comparative re-test after 30 days, same questions, published with its interval.
After a sprint, and only after one, Monthly Tracking runs at $390 per month: two to three new placements pursued a month, and the client measured again against its baseline. It is never sold cold.
What we measure, and how precisely
- Cited means named in the answer by at least one of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Gemini. Appearing among the sources without being named does not count, and we do not report it as a citation.
- Gemini carries the verdict, not the evidence. Google's API returns the domain behind an answer and never the page, so Gemini can tell you a competitor was named and cannot tell you through which page. We never turn one of its domains into a page in your report.
- The rate comes from Perplexity, and it is published with its 95% confidence interval rather than as a bare percentage.
- The evidence comes from ChatGPT and Claude: the exact sentences, and the competitor pages behind them.
- The re-test replays the same questions. The question set never changes between the two runs, because two rates are not comparable if the questions are not the same.
- Engines are queried through their APIs with web search, which is the closest available proxy to the consumer apps your client's buyers use, not the apps themselves.
- One engine is not "the AI". Two independent 2026 samples put around 70% of cited sources on a single engine and no other: SurfacedBy measured 69.6% across five engines, Writesonic 72 to 73% across four. Both are English-language and weighted toward buying queries, so read them as directional.
What we do not promise
This section exists because the alternative is an argument with a client in thirty days.
- No citation is ever guaranteed. You pay for the audit, the plan, the outreach for placements, and an honest measure of what changed.
- The re-test is a comparison, not a promised improvement.
- A small difference is noise. A gap that stays inside the confidence interval is reported as noise, not as progress. We say that before the work rather than after it.
- "Non-conclusive" is a possible verdict, and it is reported as one instead of being dressed up.
- The sprint is delivered by hand. That is why the scope is fixed at three placements, and why we would rather turn down a month than dilute one.
- A paid placement is labeled as paid. Most placements are earned by pitching an editor, with no publishing fee. Some pages only sell their slot. When one of those is worth buying, you get its price first: nothing is bought without your written approval, and you pay the publisher directly, on top of our price. We only propose a slot the publisher marks as sponsored, and the report labels it as a paid placement. Your client never receives paid coverage described as earned.
Under your name
- Your name and colour on every report. Each client has its own space, and every report carries your header. Neither our name nor our logo appears on it.
- We are never in front of your client. You are the contact from the first email to the re-test.
- Nothing goes out under your client's name without your approval. Before outreach starts, you approve each target page and the exact email written for it, in one document. A replacement page and its email go through the same approval. Every send is listed in the report.
- Nothing to connect on the client's side. The audit reads public pages, and the placements happen on other people's sites. There is no access to request and no IT ticket to open.
White-label AEO, answered
The questions agencies actually ask before sending a first domain. The answers here are
the same claims made in the copy above, written as questions so they can be quoted.
What is white-label AEO?
Answer Engine Optimisation delivered by a supplier and sold under the agency's own brand.
The agency keeps the client, the relationship and the invoice; the supplier does the work
and never appears. It matters now because the pages that decide whether an answer engine
names a brand are usually not the client's own website, and reaching them is outreach,
not publishing.
How is white-label AEO priced?
The established white-label providers work on monthly retainers with a commitment, and the
firms that execute the off-page half charge $2,000 to $4,125 a month. A Citation Sprint is
$490 once, partner rate, with no commitment. What you charge your own client is your
decision, and not something we comment on.
Do you contact our clients?
No. You are the contact from the first email to the re-test. Reports carry your agency name
and colour, and nothing goes out under your client's name without your approval.
What do you need from our client?
Nothing. The audit reads public pages only, and the placements happen on third-party
sites. There is no access to request, nothing to install on the client's site, and no IT
ticket to open.
Which answer engines do you test?
Four: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini, queried live through their APIs with web
search. A brand counts as cited when at least one of them names it in the answer.
Appearing among the sources without being named does not count. Gemini answers the
verdict at domain level only, because Google returns the domain it used and never the
page, so the quoted passages and the competitor pages come from the other three.
What happens if the 30-day re-test shows no improvement?
It says so. The re-test is a comparison, not a promised improvement. A small difference
between two runs cannot be told apart from their normal variation, and non-conclusive is a
possible verdict that is reported as one.
